Demonstrator Ghost

A full person in front of you like a mirror guide that does the moves at a slow enough speed to follow so that you can see exactly how to do them.
If the pose has MORE THAN ONE PART, like the structures, then there would be little moving arrows that move around the hands to EMPHASIZE the importance of the rotation!
If the pose only has ONE PART, like the modifiers, then it would just be still without an animation.
Putting small text descriptions beside the figure like "palm up, fingers forwards" would also be good for clarity!

To add to this, the system could use better visual cues to show the player when they are in the right range or not for each pose. For example, showing hitboxes, and some kind of rotation dial for each hand to indicate if the hands are in the right rotation would be helpful for removing obscurity around the execution of different moves. This could be a toggle on the moves board too.

I have multiple reasons for adding a demonstrator ghost which I went over thoroughly on the discord. These points align with my experience and others I've tried helping as a new player. Full explanation: https://discord.com/channels/362905006275297290/362909907063668736/1105130820357857351
Summary points:
Misconceptions about speed, force and timing required to complete the moves leads to players over exerting themselves and the player moving too fast to realize rotational or position based differences.
The tips board and the timer don't click for me or others as much as you would expect and this leads to excess urgency and force being applied to complete a move. Many new players don't realize moves can be completed leisurely within 2 seconds from exiting the starter pose and they may also believe the starter pose cannot be held indefinitely.
New players believe extra force is required to throw an object further, this is what leads to extra soreness when a player is done with the game, this soreness alone can possibly lead to a player not starting the game up again before they have fully understood the game.
Many of these effects can be seen in the review video from habie147 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c38E-g67m3c . His views echo my experience with the exception that I watched videos before hand and had a bit more knowledge because of it.

Doomdrvk: really solid analysis of some of the other benefits that would come from having something to imitate😊
Thanks for adding this to my suggestion

I've got almost 7 hours in the game, I have had tons of troube figuring out how to do some things, not so much for others. Recently unlocked the stomp move. I still can't figure it out and came here specifically to suggest this myself.

astolamb: If you are still struggling with poses then this video I created should help: https://youtu.be/hdb3DxIoGf8

Waste of time. The current ghost hands that are there are more than plenty. Just turn your arms and hands like they show and tighten up a little.

FirilGaming: The ghost hands are severely lacking, and if you're satisfied with them, you're lucky.

Yes, this is needed. I have an HP reverb G2, the natural way of holding the controllers made me press the B + Y buttons which made me 'repose'. Resulting in super tiny hands. I spent the first 30 min trying to figure out how to have my controllers 'overlap' to spawn a pillar. Plus you have to be looking forward in order for the hands to change position in the current tutorial, but how are you supposed to do a move if you have to look down at your hands which cancels the move? Full avatar ghost would be greatly appreciated and simplify this for new players.

how is this any better than the current system of literally showing you exactly where your hands go relative to your own body? I feel like the current system is the best option as it gives you
the feel
for where your hands go, not just copying someone else by looking at them like you do in a game with someone else anyways.S

Sloppy_McFloppy: Basically: everyone learns differently.
I had absolutely no issues learning the moves just like you but the fact that this video: https://youtu.be/hdb3DxIoGf8 is appreciated by so many people tells me that others need someone to copy or imitate when they're learning the moves.
I have taught so many people in the middle of fights who say that just seeing someone show it made it CLICK for them in a way that the ghost didn't.
I love the ghosts. But it's not for everyone. Hope that made sense!
