For the second time in the past day, my sound completely dies in-game. Have to reboot game to fix the issue.

Happened to me 5 times in two weeks already. Sound usually dies right when starting a re-match, sometimes between rounds. Headset becomes 100% silent, even with volume to max. It comes back to normal as soon as I get back to the gym.
Haven't had it happen to me ever since I switched to using my bluetooth headphones instead of the Quest's native audio output, but that was two weeks ago so I'm not sure whether it's connected to the issue or not.

Kalamart: It sounds like an audio fade issue. Do you remember if you were snap turning while the audio was fading out for you?

Maarten Braaksma (Project Lead) I don't think it's an audio fade. I wasn't snap turning, I was just standing on the platform before a match, and when it loaded the new arena the sound just stopped. No sound from the other person, none from my own movements and structures, complete silence.
Maarten Braaksma (Project Lead)
Kalamart Yeah, that's part of the audio fade. But it's good to know you weren't snap turning at least. Then something else must be going on.
Any special behaviour that occured while reloading the scene? Maybe something with your VR setup?

Maarten Braaksma (Project Lead) I don't think so, I don't touch it between fights. But it's kind of weird that it didn't happen again since I stopped using the ALVR audio output, at least for now. It
looks
like a VR setup issue, but it's connected to where I am in the game.If there are any logs I can collect for you analyze the next time it happens, I would be glad to help :)
Maarten Braaksma (Project Lead)
Kalamart Well, I think I just need to stress test re-matching to trigger that same audio fade issue.
If anyone has consistent reproduction steps however, please let me know! They could be very valuable!

I've also experienced this a couple of times. I was able to fix it by going back to my dojo and turning the master volume down and up again, however it did happen again later in my play session with the same fix working

Happen to me too, after I removed my quest 2 then put it back.
After I went back to the lobby, the sound worked again.

Only had this happen once and it happened to both me and my opponent at the same time.
Edit: just had this happen again and it was only on my end!
MAXED out my volume and could BARELY hear things. This makes me think that the distance-based volume is messing up its math and it thinks you are way further than you should be!
It never went back for a long play session though
