Cannot use SteamVR with Rumble, "No OpenXR runtime detected"

I updated meta quest link drivers, reinstalled steam vr AND the game, made sure openXR was set to steamvr, restarted my pc, ran as admin... Nothing worked
I can still play with Quest Link, but it feels very wrong and is very laggy at times. I'd like to get steamvr to work properly with rumble.
I also noticed SteamVR no longer starts along with the game when launching Rumble from steam, it just starts like any other game, without steamvr. Not sure if correlated.

It's fixed, LIV had messed it up. I uninstalled it and it now works properly.
Thanks maarten!

After some troubleshooting, we've managed to solve it by deinstalling LIV and thus turning off the "LIV OpenXR First Person Stabilizer Capture Layer". This layer gave us issues.

While on your pc (not vr yet) try opening steamvr, clicking the options button, clicking settings, click "OpenXR" and then there should be an option to set steamvr as the openxr runtime

I usually start the game DIRECTLY from steamvr, and so far has worked normally. But not anymore, now it just doesn't hook up to VR

i used virtual desktop, i found starting SteamVR on my computer, then going into my headset and starting the game from VD was the trick to getting a consistent launch
i ran into that issue occasionally aswell, hope my solution works for you as well
